Conclusion: To put this in perspective, in the first 90 years of the 20th century there were 18 occurances of a player age 35 or older who hit 35 or more homeruns in a season. In the 15 years that followed, it happened 24 times. That's a 33% increase in just 1/6 the number of years. Bonds appears on this list every year from 35-39 as does Hank Aaron (except for age 38). Thus Hammerin' Hank is the greatest slugger ever and Barry - the most accomplished cheat.
